eBay - get rid of your trash
For some time eBay has been the place to get rid of that junk you have lying around. Now it seems to be the place to get rid of your trash too.
My officemate is a diehard eBayer; using it to buy all kinds of things, but today he had a bit of a meltdown when he found people selling piles of LCD displays that are broken, non-functional, non-operational, you name it.
"What's up with this?!" he was exclaiming. "This is trash!" and "Now every idiot is on here!"
He's thinking that he should try and sell an empty milk carton; except I'm sure it has already been done.
We both liked this auction; it's someone selling a working LCD display, but they had a picture captioned "Pictured may not be the actual auction item, but clearly represents it." The picture may represent the item; if the item is wrapped in dark plastic, surrounded by white styrofoam, and placed inside a cardboard box!
